sorry for the disappearance. I have been working non-stop since 20th feb.
Although I managed to escape from office for these 2 days, I’m unfortunately down with a bad sore throat and slight fever. And I still have some work on hand to complete before Monday comes.
Anyway, I will try my best to update. It has been an eventful month for me – so much tears of joy and unhappiness.
I will backdate my entries, so scroll down to read over the next few days!

I got pissed off at dinner earlier this evening.
We brought 4 bottles of red wine, 2 cabernet sauvignon and 2 merlot.
The waitress just had to open a bottle of each and poured without taking note of it.
(Hello~ You don’t mix 2 different bottles of wine in the same glass.)
If this didn’t happen, the company dinner would have be excellent.!

the decals were done by the previous tenants…
I see Betty Boop when I shower.

my lovely IKEA kitchen.

It’s really a headache to cook for just one share.
My 1st attempt in soups:
Ribs + Corn + Carrot + Melon. =)

pardon for the disappearance! I was away to Xiamen for work.
Been couped for a week in the hotel for the 4-days tradeshow event. Oh boy was it tiring.

Few hours after I landed in Xiamen, I went down to Ji Mei University with my colleagues to meet the undergrads that are helping out in the event.
I felt kinda weird since I’m like them, an undergrad. But of course, I couldn’t reveal my identity.

There was a welcome dinner cum fashion show, hence explains the stage setup:

This is one of the biggest hotel in Xiamen, with 1000+ rooms!

How wish the runway was mine to walk. 1m high, 24m long.

Looks good yeah?

My job was to helped out the fashion show coordination, take care of the models and students plus meals and some logistics. I felt like a mother of so many throughout the event. Lunch, Dinner, Snacks. Thank god for the nearby supermarket. I always come back with heaps of snacks.
This is the lunch box that I’ve gotten for every meal. It’s only 9rmb and it taste alright.

On the last day with the students, year1-4s. And yet they call me Jeanine姐. -_-”

Hello everybody! – Greetings from the freezer!
I’m good in Shanghai. It’s been a really busy week for me.
Daytime at work, night time doing up my apartment.
Gotta get some necessities tomorrow and I should be ready to move in!

i’m kinda reluctant though. check out the 2 views below and you will know why.
1. my friend’s apartment view which i’m staying at now:

2. my own rented apartment:

luckily there’s Ikea to save the day. Went to shop for my place and spent 900rmb.
And of course, I wouldn’t miss out on the swedish meatballs!!!!

oh, did I mentioned it snowed lightly the other day?
but it was rain + snow, not really fantastic.
looking forward to a nice snowy day!

I’m staying with Prasith and Cyrielle for these few days and I really liked the apartment. But too bad, it’s not feasible to stay here for my whole internship.
I reckon the best place to live in, is next to the shopping mall that is near my office!
The shopping mall is so great – it has my favourite ChaMate and Papa John’s plus Uniqlo! There’s also a 2-storey supermarket and many other restuarants and retail spaces. Not to mention, Starbucks, Haagen Daz, Dairy Queen, Burger King, etc.
It’s a 10mins walk to office and 15mins walk to miao’s place in the opposite direction. *awesome*
However, given my budget, I can only afford the old apartments. And I insisted on the one just across the shopping mall~

They are all 6-storey buildings with NO lift.

My apartment will be at the 5th storey, a cosy 1-bedroom. Good daily workout for me.
So, my dear friends, if you’re planning to bunk in with me, please be mentally-prepared alright!

it’s frigg’in cold here.. -1 degrees.
the sudden gust of cold air blew me off when I stepped out of the airport. freaking cold!
anyway, i’m so glad that I swopped my blog to my own domain. I can blog freely!!! yay!
I’m supposed to go to the bank and also do some winter clothing shopping. But i’m so reluctant to step out of the house. Just going downstairs to get the topup card was already tortorous.
alright, on a side note, miao told me su zhen is pregnant!!!
OMG~ i’m so happy for them.
