New curls!

It’s Chinese New Year Eve and I’m heading to my grandma’s place later for reunion dinner. I don’t feel much of the CNY atmosphere this year – it is me only or do you feel the same as well? Or probably I’m just too busy with FYP.

But I’m glad I managed to find some time last week to visit the hair salon! It’s always good to start the year with something fresh!

I went to Salon Vim after hearing the raves and I must say, they have really good service! I had a slight cough, so they continuously refilled my cup of hot tea and offered me lozenges.

And of course, I liked their hair services too! Before the perm, they did a protein treatment on my hair to strengthen it. And I went for the after-perm treatment too. My hair looks pretty healthy now, regaining its former glory. lol.

This is one of the few rare times that I walked out of a salon satisfied. :D

Feeling unhappy about chapped lips?

This is definitely an issue that has been bothering me for the longest time ever. Even before my acne woes kicked in.

In times like this, lip balms definitely come in handy!

I absolutely adore this collection. The ruffles, volume, texture and colors!!

I can hear the heels calling out to me! Check out those prints on the inner soles~ It’s this small little details that add on to the bonus.

Last addition for the month of October! You gotta love these new in pieces!

The embroidery jersey dress has a peek-a-boo cutout at the back~

The sleeveless maxi dress with rose-carved buttons screams vintage!

You can never get enough of shirtdress. This one has got mandarin collar with pleats and fluttery sleeves. You can pair it with leggings if it’s tad short.

Polka dots are somewhat the black horse in this year’s fashion scene. This comme-des-garcons inspired piece will make you look smart and add on some quirky fun to your style.

We have brought in Knit Scarf in 4 different colors. It’s soft and cuddly, definitely keeping you cozy warm under cold weather! Great to have one at office! :)

I got home yesterday with a bag filled with my f21 online loots and saw a parcel on my table. finally! my hvv dresses have arrived~

totally love my purchases except for one that’s pretty much sheer which I wished they had lined the dress.

followed on, in the night, a courier man came knocking on my door!

*bleams*

I was totally surprised as I just confirmed my address the day before and little did I expect the delivery would be so speedy!

I’m SOOOOooo in love with my new manicure! Hehee. I’m really feeling so excited about it. It’s such a marvelous combination!

They look like some yummilious soda drink or sugared gummy. And I can’t help to think the white part resembles frosting! Haha.

Don’t you think they are so preeettty? :D

And this was made possible with Ettusais new Nail Color! That’s the BE4 color on the left. And the other 2 from the nail vacance series.  Initially when I got the BE4, I was afraid that it may appear over glittery but when I applied on my nails, I couldn’t stop admiring the ultra glittery shine!

Other than nail colors, Ettusais have also introduced 4 new Eye Colors with glitter too! There’s purple, brown, pink and gold.

I chose the BR6 and GD2 plus the beige to create my look.

Firstly, I spread some beige over the entire lid, acting as a base plus brightening the area. Next, using the applicator, I pick up some BR6 and apply on the outer part of my lids, softly blend inwards with the beige. Lastly, I dabbed on the GD2 over the lid, overlapping on the brown.

I am a big fan of earthy tones and this combination is just so perfect for my night out! I usually use matte colors for the day and for the night, I can easily apply these glittery colors over the matte ones.

geek vs. chick

2 weeks ago, MJ had a themed-dinner to attend and I went over to help her with the preparations. I brought along my Ettusais loots to do up her makeup!

And I used the Bitaba mascara on her! heh. Check out the effect!!

The right side is mascara-ed with Bitaba.

Initially, she wanted to settle with the black dress but after hearing how her friends were dressed, I decided to give her a full makeover!

Picked a shirt to match the dress plus braided her hair and lent her the geeky specs!

She looks great yeah! ;)

I gelled flat his hair to create that old school hairstyle and sacrifice my gel eyeliner to mark his neck with the maths equation.

They named this the teacher and student pair. lol.

I’m pretty satisfied with this round of makeover! Hope you guys had fun at the dinner!! ;)
