Photoshoots with Shen are always filled with laughter.
We always talk about the silly experiences in life.
The last shoot with him, he told me about his “virgin” clubbing visit to Double O. Damn hilarious!
It’s been quite a while since I appeared at Frenchfleurs. With me bloating up like nobody’s business and the recent bad breakout, I ought to hide behind the cameras.

My preparations before the shoot starts:
Introducing the new addition to the Ettusais family: AC Pore Smooth Concealer!

It was also one of the products that were launched at the previous Ettusais Party together with the Dual Effect products.

Make the pores disappear!

Concealing the pores on my nose! Enlarged pores has larger exposed surface – when light hits on the pores, a shadow is cast plus the excess oil sebum, they make the enlarged pores look visible to our eyes.

The AC Pore Smooth Concealer contains mineral powder that prevents inflammation and the AC control oil retains moisture in the skin. As well, it helps to disperse light – reducing the look of enlarged pores.
It doesn’t clog pores and no sticky feeling! I applied it over my makeup, as the last step.

Besides the AC Pore Smooth Concealer, I applied the Whitening UV EX as my pre-makeup base plus sunblock. It has sunscreen protection of SPF 24 PA++, anti-bacterial effect, treats acne, prevents further breakouts and evens out skin tone.
It comes in Dry Block and Oil Block formulas.
Dry Block is suitable for dry and dehydrated skin. It is formulated with AC Control Oil that hydrates the skin and prevents shine.
Oil Block is suitable for oily and combination skin. It is oil-free and moisturizing, helps to absorb excess sebum and keeps your skin free and matte.
My dry block is squeezed out, got myself a new tube! I’m using the oil block for my forehead while dry block for the rest. I’ve got oily forehead and dry cheeks.

Follow on after the base; it’s the Zero Pore Pact. The first plate has lasted me for 6 months! Well, I use minimally every day. It has antibacterial properties too, as well sunscreen properties of SPF 12 PA++. I’m using the Dry Block – it has a moisturizing texture that hydrates the skin with AC control and prevents skin from flaking.
Did I mention that the sponge for Oil block and Dry block is different!? The sponges are designed to help better application of its respective pact.

And there, for a smooth flawless complexion…

i prefer this one much better.

i am balloon-ing…. *dreads*
I started to realise I actually like myself for my long face. Though i used to grumble about it and getting mock at for a “horse” face, I do like it afterall.
Get rid of my chubby cheeks, s’il vous plait.

i’m so so so so so darn worried, after what WT said at the end of the shoot.
i just can’t help but to think and feel that I will be eliminated.

Kelvin picked me up after the shoot and drove down to Central Mall…
He still knows me the best. Food cheers me up!
We missed out on the pork cheeks meat the last time.
Thankfully, we were early today!
the meat was succulent and tasty. ahhh, im drooling again…
I love the flavoured egg too. The yolk was awesome!

Am I hooked to the outdoors or what? Did another shoot with Shen, a few days ago. Haha.. he’s a cool and funny guy. The 4 hour long shoot was pretty enjoyable!

Our set up at Fort Canning Park…

we reckon it looks like for some spa or nature advert… haha…

check this out! i’m streeetched~ lol..

Ooooppps. Caught in action! Haha.. what am I spraying on my legs!?

Collected the Ettusais products before heading for the shoot and wanted to try them out immediately!! Hahah..
It’s Acne Body Whitening Mist from Ettusais!

It helps to keep the skin moisturized and fair! It also lightens and clears the blemishes on our body! At the same time, preventing acne formation on our body.
I had pimples popping out on my back previously. Now, this whitening mist and the Acne Aroma Body Wash are gonna be my best friends!
I was told that the body wash has a floral fruity scent. Couldn’t wait to bath time, so I opened it and gave a good sniff! Smells really citrus and floral…. Rose, Jasmine, Apple, Pear, Peach.. So yummy! And the aroma seems to take the stress away, it smells really refreshing!

It has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that remove excess oil and impurities, keeping our body skin blemish-free. But it’s also gentle and keeps the skin moisturized!
When I went to change into my 2nd outfit, I took the body wash along, squeezing a little out, foaming it up.. haha.. I didn’t bath in the toilet. Was merely using the aroma to freshen myself up! Was really tempted to take a bath though. The weather was so humid!
Of course I did use it when I got home. Loved the refreshing feeling. (:
The 2nd look for the shoot. Some sort Emo…

played with the light effects…

this was for the shadow effect…

haha.. my constraint space attempt.. failed!

Can’t wait to see the final photos… We’ve got a couple of good shots and interesting ones!
And oh yes! How can I leave this out:

maybe the angle of the photo could be better.
Fashion shoot for a NAFA fashion student, Pink.

Luckily, I had Michelle with me for the shoot!

heart this girl!

Love her shots… She’s great at it!

Ginger, the makeup artist. She’s really good at it!!!

Tuck fooling around.. lol…

The team for the day!

It was a tiring shoot. 6 freaking hours under the humid condition.
plus the scary ants! we did a shot just right beside the ant hole!!! and i started whacking myself after 5 mins. it was horrible~
But it’s a good experience. My 1st fashion shoot…. (:

the organizers of msu decided to hold a contest on NS portal for NSmen to predict the Miss Singapore Universe 2009. And being it in NS portal, we all need an account to login and see the photos and vote.
*Votes do not count into the results*
I hate signing up for unnecessary accounts. But after knowing that they are not giving us the copies of the photoshoot, I finally spend 5 minutes creating a NS portal account.
Quite disappointing, the pictures were like thumbnail size. boo.
Alright, let me do a formal introduction of the finalists!
First up,

My hair look bad. my fringe was pinned up initially. And the photographer suggested that I let it down. But being the last girl to do the shoot, the hair stylist had gone home already.

last night, we had a speech training session. And we were told to try on the bikinis and shawls. plus photo-taking.
It just had to happen when I had light makeup and did not put on fake eyelashes!

I’m feeling kinda dishearted after last night’s session. I have been with different group of people for the past week and it influenced my concept of self. I’m feeling lost.
everything seems to be a fluff and nothing more.
*sya, im having the same thoughts as you.*
