The Miss Singapore Universe 09 competition has finally marked its final last night.

Me and emiko received only a bouquet of flowers, which went missing when during the after-party. darn.

we reported at 12 noon for rehearsals and started makeup and hair at 3pm. You know, makeup and hair plays an important role too. At the very least, they should not go wrong. Even if you can speak well, walk well, but with a wayang makeup and hairdo, it just ruins everything.

I was freaking out just before the show started because my makeup and hairdo went wrong! The eyeshadow was extremely thick and they simply slab on more each time they tried to salvage it. In the end, I went on stage with a whole lot of glitter. So much that my eyes couldn’t be seen on stage.

The hair was disastrous. The curls didn’t suit my hair. It made me looked like from the 60s. My mom gave a bad comment on it too. Hai.

Pardon for the photos. I didnt take any behind the scenes photos. And my parents sat too far away from the stage. That’s why the photos are so blur. Am waiting for the official photos to be out.

The 1st segment was casual, by Harley Davidson. It was a non-judging round. We had to dance at the back while each girl took their solo walk.

2nd segment was bikini. Here’s Sya, Gina & April.

Last, the evening gown. Hayden chose them accordingly to our personality.

But i don’t feel my gown suit me well.. it made me looked big and stumpy?
Anyway, i received lots of compliments on my gown.

Qns: Would you date a guy much younger or older?
Ans: Age is not a factor to me. What matters most is his size. It must be big. And what i’m referring to, is the size of his heart. The bigger, the better!

My question was: Should a Beauty Queen be seen smoking or drinking to drunk at a party?
Obviously no. Not only it destroys her image as a beauty queen, it also reflects negatively on the cause she represents.

emiko got the tricky one. What’s the biggest lie you have told and why?

When Glenn announced Cheryl, Rachel and April. I was praying that it’s not gonna be me. But Glenn called out my number. I was totally stunned. And I knew Emiko was definitely gonna be the 5th one.

Everything was spot on! It still feels like a dream.

Now, MSU has come to an end for me. There’s might be some other activities or initiatives going on in future. Hopefully we girls can work out sth soon.

Next up for me will be Miss Earth Singapore. I really want to do some green activities. And Miss Earth is very much meaningful. I’m so excited about the activities lined up. But i’m not sure if i’m able to go through the whole pageant thingy again. Let’s see how it goes~

last night, we had a speech training session. And we were told to try on the bikinis and shawls. plus photo-taking.

It just had to happen when I had light makeup and did not put on fake eyelashes!

I’m feeling kinda dishearted after last night’s session. I have been with different group of people for the past week and it influenced my concept of self. I’m feeling lost.

everything seems to be a fluff and nothing more.

Those fruits and cookies were prepared specially for us! haha.. I loved that wheat biscuit with raspberry jam.

They are located at Wheelock Place and the clinic is huge!

I’m amazed by the effort made to let a dental visit be more pleasant and comfortable. I thought Tooth Doctor was great already but Orchard Scotts really blew me off!

They have a relax room for the teeth whitening, which totally looks like a spa resort! How cool is that.

I ran out of floss and was thinking of changing my toothbrush and also considering whitening and TA-DA~

They gave us a trial kit for teeth whitening, lots of toothpaste, toothbrush and floss.

We’ll be going back for a follow-up and I need to do crowning for my dead tooth soon too. It’s darn ex-pen-sive! And the braces bill is hitting me hard. I need to work!! Hai…

Omg! Lol. This sounds fun!

My back is feeling much better but.. Bless me in heels. And my French test..

Sales were terrible. i wish to attribute it to the downpour.

And I guess i’m starting to feel the effects of the recession.

I was selling 2 of my own tops for $5 each and 2 girls came, asking if i could go lower than $5.

WTH!

$5 is such a bargain. Why not try asking if i’m willing to give it to you free? I might just consider that!
