Did an event last night at Clifford Pier.

I’m totally amazed by the place – One on the Bund.

the same concept as the Shanghai Bund and they do serve shanghainese food!

It’s for Nokia. Some private launch party for their dealers.

Me, Shu Min, Sara and Iko represented 4 different categories of phones – Essential, Music, Email, Convergence.

Oh well, I was assigned to essentials and they dressed me as a student. lol.

it’s kinda hard to believe. I always had that mature look. somehow, the braces did magic and turned me young. someone thought i was 18!!! LOL.

there was lots of waiting time. we were freezing at backstage. really bored and we started cam-whoring with the nokia phones! haha…

Iko uploaded them immediately onto Facebook with the 3G network. yeah, they are having the FB application in the new nokia phones!!

we behaved like starving models. they fed us dinner at 5+pm and we digged in together with the dealers again at 9pm. And after the show, me and shu min stayed back for drinks and continued to whack the prawns! so yummy. the both of us are suckers for prawns… haha..

Hush Puppies Spring/Summer 2009 Fashion Show last weekend @ Jurong Point.

We reported for rehearsal at 8.30am, before the mall opened. freaking 8.30am! when the show time is at 5pm and 7pm~ supposedly, we should have rehearsal when no one is around. But unfortunately, the stage was just right beside McDonalds and Subway, who opens at 8am?

So we had the early birds looking at our rehearsal. it felt weird. lol.

yes, it was a 2-day event! thankfully, we didnt have rehearsals on the 2nd day. Else I would be a zombie walking on stage.

the makeup on 2nd day was more glam and high fashion. the 1st day was sunshine!

with one of the dresser’s son. he had the priviledged of watching us changing into our 1st outfit. But of course, his mom kept the phone. Else he would be snapping non-stop! haha..

I did a replacement show on Sunday @ Zouk.

My 4th walk in Zouk. hai.. When can i ever get to the real runway!? I wanna do bridal shows~

Romp is a dance showdown organized by Youth Empire, an organization that supports youth actions. And Romp 4 is also the soft-launch for “The Project Runway”, a series of fashion shows displaying local designers’ labels.

Brands involved in the soft launch were Dottie and KAI.

I’m so glad I had Abi’s company in this man. I didnt know any of the girls there and I was feeling damn reluctant to do the show anyway.

Since it was the soft launch, no mua and hair stylists. we had to do it our own. =(

They are awesome alright! They can shake better than girls and they are totally seductive on stage! I feel so ashamed of myself man… It was a pity that they didnt win the competition.

For my events class, we had to organize an event in line with World Water Day.

So, we went down to St Anthony’s Primary today!

We planned a 1-hour program for the kids, which PUB will rate the response and decide if they will use it across all the primary school.

The school sent the Primary 1s and 2s for our program.

The discipline mistress made them raise up their hand to show that they are ready. haha.. and of course, finger on the lips!

we needed empty bottles for one of the games and we had to drink up the NEWater.

Since it’s a PUB event, how could we not have Water Wally to entertain the kids!

look at their overwhelming response when we called for volunteers to go on stage!

the program went well.. i followed one of the class back to do some survey. the kids are pretty funny though.
