Horse Riding
Sometime last month, I went on a short trip out and had a chance to go horse riding! It was totally random!
It felt so surreal to have real horses standing in front of me. I have never been so up close with horses.
I was told to gear up and there I went into the beginners’ ring.
Getting up on a horse was not as difficult as I had expected. (I was worried about my jeans.) Hold on to the rein, step on the foot paddle, push yourself upwards and swing your leg over the body of the horse.
How to get the horse moving? Back-kick and shout “JAAA~”
After making a few rounds, I went into the “expert” ring with another horse. I was quite scared and the horse had the tendency to increase its speed as we went..
Looking at how timid I was, the coach took me on for a ride before the day ended.
The horse was literally galloping away! I could feel myself flying out of the seat and bumped back on. I screamed my way through the round.
I was really glad I made it back safely in a piece.
My heart was still thumping really fast and I had to catch my breath first before getting off the horse.
Despite all, I must say horse riding is really fun! ! I would love to learn it. Besides, horses are fun-loving animals and the thought of owning a horse sounds really exciting! Oh well, on 2nd thoughts, it’s gonna cost a bomb to do that in Singapore.

e乐大赏2011
Last weekend, I tagged along with HC to e乐大赏 @ Indoor Stadium. 
She had free tickets to it, so why not! haha.
Although it was carried out in a concert format rather than the proper award ceremony, there was still not much attraction to it. And thank goodness, I didn’t had much expectations of it, and therefore less disappointment.
Ok, it’s not that bad if your idol happens to be there.
Here’s 黃靖倫 (Huang Jin Lun) whom I felt was styled badly for the night. He was in different shades of camel from top to bottom.
Other singers who attended the event include Derrick Hoh, Sigma, Seven, 小鬼, etc.
I paid a lot more attention when 倪安东 (Anthony) performed. But I was pretty shocked to see that he has put on weight! HEh, his face looks much rounder now. And I wonder why.
One of the highlights of the night was the performance by Kit Chan. She sang 追 by 张国荣 (Leslie Cheung) and I totally love it!
The night ended with Ella representing S.H.E to receive an award. But sadly, she only sang 1 song and it was together with their fan club. Ok, so much for awaiting for her performance.
MAC WonderWoman Mineralize Skinfinish (Pink)
Early last month, MAC launched its WonderWoman series. There has been extreme views on the packaging. Some people love it to the max., while others find it tacky. I think it’s a wonder-ful design – this is so wonderwoman! Anything classic/subtle just wouldn’t work on her.
Just as I have always been wishing for cosmetic products to come in mini sizes, I can’t deny that I was indeed attracted to the XXL versions. They are literally huge! I bought the Mineralize Skinfinish in Pink Powder.
It’s larger than my palm!
The Pink Powder pack comes with 3 colors – for highlights, bronzing and blush.
Of course, with such a huge-sized product, you wonder if ever get to even finish half of it!
Besides using the colors separately, I swirled my brush over the bronzer and highlighter to use it as a face powder. Thankfully (or not), having a less fairer skin tone, the combination didn’t appear overly dark on my face. In fact, it gave a healthy glow to my skin. (:
Just to add on, I LOVE the shade of the pink blush! Hopefully, with diligence, I will be able to use up at least half the pan.

In efforts to go green, H&M is no stranger in using sustainable materials since 2004. And with its continuous efforts to strive more sustainable fashion, H&M will be launching the Conscious Collection this April.
This collection focuses on minimalist white while it creates a romantic feeling with lace, frills and draping.
I absolutely adore this deep v-neck dress – the lovely floral imprints and tiered scalloped trimmings.
A full white blazer shouldn’t be as difficult to pull off as white lace shorts.

Food Tasting @ Overtime
It’s OVERTIME again! But no fret, nothing stressful!
A few weeks ago, the bloggers gathered for a food tasting session @ Overtime Dempsey. My previous visit to Overtime was for its grand opening and oh boy was it filled with good beer and roasted crunchy pork! What an indulgence~ Overtime offers both finger foods and a wide selection for a proper meals.

With more than 10 of us there, I guess we ordered almost everything on the menu!
The HITS:
Calamari Scampi $14
Daen strongly recommended this salad and we ended up having 4 plates of it!! LOL. I must say calamari was pretty well done, very fresh – I hate the soft mushy kind. The taste is a mix of sweet, sour and spicy, Thai-style. A great starter and its whets the appetite!
Mutton Satay (10pcs)
Stir Fried Louh Syu Fan (Mee Tai Mud) $10
I was surprised to see this in the menu and ordered it right away. And it didn’t disappoint me. The fragrance was overwhelming when served. You can imagine it as Char Teow Kway but uses Louh Syu Fan instead. They are also very generous with the portion of seafood in it.
Food Platter A $23
Here’s my favourite Crunchy Pork, along with Crispy Mushrooms and Crispy Fish Fillets. The crunchy pork is one of the best roasted meat I ever had! While the skin is crunchy and crisp, the meat remains juicy and succulent. The proportion of fats to lean meat is about 40:60? Occasional indulgence is perfectly fine. Alternatively, you can simply just savor the lean meat.
Not forgetting the Starker Beer! Aromatic is my favourite~

Katy Perry + Black Shatter. You just need one coat of it to achieve this effect. One thing to note, it dries up really fast, so you gotta act fast too! It looks great, doesn’t it!?

Earthquake – Tsunami – and a possible Nuclear meltdown.
I guess most of us are aware about the tragedy that took place in Japan over the past 5 days. I have never followed the news this closely. It is heartbreaking to see the photos and watch the videos of the devastation.
I pray for Japan and all of us.
On a side note, I find it absurd that citizens of China snapping up salt in fear of radiation. Some of them, are not even aware of what’s going on.
