I just returned from a hospital visit. It was for a joyous moment:
My colleague’s new born baby daughter..

She’s so small, only 4 days old.

I looked really happy in this photo, don’t I?

She definitely the youngest baby I had ever carried. I was pretty scared though but it seems like I did managed her well. haha..

awww~ isn’t she adorable! the way she looked at me… *melts*

Babies are so pure and wonderful.

I do wonder at times, what am I doing in Shanghai.
What’s right, what’s wrong?
I’m losing track of myself.

A month back when I returned to Shanghai, life was packed to the brim.
It was so crazy that I actually burnt one of the nights doing up a training presentation in Chinese. Followed on with setup of the tradeshow, I only had 3-5 hours of sleep each night over 3 days. Totally exhausted.
I was really worried about looking fatigued and I thought I should try out the new products from Ettusais for instant glow! =)
First up, Base Version Up UV. This pre-makeup base is lightweight in texture and evens out your skin tone, giving a glowing complexion. You can really tell a difference after application as it covers up blemishes, freckles and pores.

The beige-colored liquid spreads out easily and is actually translucent. So there’s no worries about the beige color tone. =)

It also contains AC Control oil that keeps skin moisturized while fighting acne bacteria. I’m really in need of it to help me fight the breakouts caused by burning midnight oil.
Next is the Sparkling Pact – the powder foundation that gives instant glow!

The swirls in the compact powder simply reminds me of 2009 sweet marble collection! I love swirls~

The Sparkling Pact contains pearl pigments that scatter light for glowy radiant skin and creates a face-slimming effect. Just think of pearls, it always reflects a glow from the middle and is dim around. That’s how the contouring effect is created.

It comes in 3 tones: 10 (light), 20 (natural), 30 (healthy).
I’m using 20 and I just love the effect of glow from beneath!

I was told that with every purchase of the Sparkling Pact, you will receive the case for free!
*while stocks last.
=) YAY! $20 saved~

Ettusais Sparkling Pact retails at $45 and Ettusais Base Version Up UV at $41.

Everyone does wish for that love and mutual understanding shared between Ip Man and his wife, don’t you?
No doubt the fighting scenes were spectacular (I cried when Master Hong was beaten to death on the ring), I still felt that something was missing.

how intricately interesting this is. via here
I am so tempted to take out a bill now and follow the instructional video. But it’s not too nice to do it during office hours.
Oh! the toliet paper origami looks cool too! maybe I can attempt it in the toliet.
lol.

I can’t help to feel that Kai Yao bears a resemblance to 淼, not physical features but the overall vibes.
I think the accent and hand gestures contributed to it.
can you tell we are of the same age? he thought I was 2-3 years older. #*&%$~!
I should meet more local people of my age, enough of the 1970s and early 1980s.
and shit, I seriously put on a lot of weight. chubby cheeks*

It’s my off day today and I pampered myself to a good 2-hour massage session.
I felt like a piece of dough on the massage bed…

some quick calculations, I think I’ve wasted 5 weeks of house rental fees by going on work & personal trips.. darn.
this event was held in Shanghai though, but I insisted on staying at the hotel, given the crazy working hours.

workers busy setting up the graphics and racks…

the setup lasted through till 4:30 in the morning and I had to bring my boss through the progress at 8am.

we customized our props and i’m keeping the thermal bottle!
And due to unclear instructions, we did not make pillow cases with the cloth given to us. Therefore, I took sewing kits from the hotel and churned out 2 pillow cases on the spot.
With that, everyone started commenting on the motherly side of me…. -_-”

I was put in charge of the part-timers (undergrads) again, plus the common area graphics and directional signs.
It’s no easy feat to handle 40 over of them. Shanghai students are indeed different from the ones we had in Xiamen.
I think I did a terribly poor job this time round.
Anyway, we celebrated 3 of their birthdays on the last day as they coincide with the event.

Despite having some problematic students, some of them were really helpful and nice.
And it’s so sweet of them to request a photo with me.
Side note: Do I look much older than them?

April is coming to an end. I am counting down to my days in Shanghai, 2 more projects and i’m done with my internship.
What’s next?
