Night EXPO
“Have you been to the EXPO?”
Yes, I finally did. A quick one though.
I went in the evening to avoid the strong sun rays and hot temperature.
It was indeed cooler after sunset. =)
And the night view was great too, with everything lighted up.
There were still so much crowd and the queues (average waiting time was between 1 – 3 hours) were nothing but madness. So I gave up the idea on touring what’s inside the pavilions. I went on an architecture tour instead.
China Pavilion was only by appointments and all slots were snatched up in the morning.
The rabbit-look-alike roof top belongs to Macau Pavilion.
Hong Kong Pavilion
“can’t remember which pavilion this was. oops”
Korea Pavilion
The intricate details on the surface.
Vietnam Pavilion
Japan Pavilion!!!
New Zealand Pavilion
Malaysia Pavilion
Say hello to Singapore~
I was more concerned about my growling stomach and I dashed to its food stall. Was it unfortunate or lucky? They were left with the last packed meal and it was Satay. $7 was a hefty price for 8pcs of satay and some rice. It’s not even ketupat!
Philippines Pavilion
Australia Pavilion
Portugal Pavilion
Slovakia Pavilion – the 1st pavilion that I entered, just because there was NO queue! ![]()
Czech Republic Pavilion – 2nd and the last pavilion I entered.
The country that me and shobi almost landed at 4 years ago.
There were quite a bit to look at – culture, traditions, technology, etc.
Sweden Pavilion – love the wooden toy horses ![]()
Denmark Pavilion
Latvia Pavilion
Greek Pavilion
Iceland Pavilion
Turkey Pavilion
England Pavilion – I would love love love to queue for entry, but…
Russia Pavilion
That’s all the photos I took. Gave a miss on several pavilions.
It took me 3+ hours to walk through 75% of the pavilions. I have yet to visit the themed-pavilions.
Maybe another day? Or maybe not.
