not only is Bertram is great host, good chef, he even drove us to Genoa, Italy.
it was a 3hours drive trip. we caught a glimpse of monaco from the mountains.

Edoardo took us to the port for aperatifs.

followed by a lovely italian dinner at Osteria di Vico Palla.
Genoa is a small old city and all the buildings are very close to one another.
This restaurant was hidden at one of the back alleys.
Food was great. I loved the ravioli pasta. And the raspberry sorbert was superb!
The texture isn’t like normal sorbert. It melts in the mouth immediately which makes you doubt if you had taken it.
I think they probably beat up the cold syrup which incorporated millions of air bubbles to achieve the unique texture.
