my last day in Paris! aww man, time flies.
went to look for Pierre Hermé in the afternoon.
oh boy, it was like an amazing race!
Headed to Rue Bonaparte and guess what!!?
They were closed for the summer holidays, for 1 MONTH!
we had to quickly made our way to the other outlet at Rue Cambon as we have another appointment later on.
he had no idea where and we ended buying a map and walked towards the direction.
It took us 20 minutes and it was sorching hot.
Finally we arrived at the boutique. It was quite a small one, unlike La Durée.

Pierre Hermé is apparently famous for salty marrons.
He is a modern pâtisserie and creates different flavours.
I bought the traditional rosé, caramel salé and cassie.
Interesting flavours were the jasmine, apricot chocolate, pistachio framboise and grapefruit.
And yes, they are really not sweet at all!
The macarron crust is pretty soft and it melts in your mouth. Unlike other macarons that are crisp on the crust and chewy inside. I was a little disappointed on the 1st bite. Not to my liking.
What’s amazing is the fillings! They are so fresh, better quality than La Durée.
The grapefruit one had the tinge of sour and bitterness of the real fruit.
The Jasmine (silvery white one) and Rosé were the best among.
Well, if you find macarons too sweet, you should taste Pierre Hermé ones. (:
