The Ettusais Ambassadors were invited to attend Ettusais’ new product launch together with the media people. It was a great afternoon at Mykii, with Esther and Holly showcasing the new product. We were well-fed by Ettusais with delicious savoury tapas, lemon tarts and chocolate brownies as well!

A new & improved formula to be exact!

Tracing back its history, the first generation of Ettusais Skincare Powder was named Day Protect Powder, which was launched in 2004. It gave the coverage of a foundation and provided a light and fluffy feel!

Following in 2007, Ettusais introduced a new skincare powder – Daytime Defense Powder. It gave a better oil control.

Ettusais believes that skincare protection should not be restricted in just skincare products.

Our skin is stressed by agressors such as UV rays, pollution, dehydration, etc. And skincare products only works on the inner and deeper layers of our skin thus the surface is left unprotected and untreated.

Also, we girls know how long we have our makeup on each day, it’s an average of 8 hours or more daily. Wouldn’t it be great if our makeup products are an extension of our skincare regime? (=

This is the concept of Ettusais!

Therefore, Ettusais’ range of base products are called Base Care instead of Base Makeup.

In this 2009, Ettusais is launching a new and improved formula of the skincare powder, bringing you the best of the Day Protect Powder and Daytime Defense Powder – The Medicated Acne Daytime Defense Powder EXTRA!

The improved technology also enabled the puff to help in better application of the powder. Which reduces the appearance of pores and blemishes! (YAY!)

VERDICT: This is me with application of Daytime Defense Powder.

I’m amazed by it’s coverage properties and yet it feels so light on my face, almost like nothing!

But I’m not saying that it’s a magic powder that covers all your pimple scars and freckles.

It is great to use it when you want to go light on your makeup and for every day protection of your face! Plus, it fights acne causing bateria, absorbs sebum and completes with a radiant finish!
