dark circles no more!

A few weeks ago, I was telling myself: “I need a new eye cream!”
(d
ark circles have always been one of my biggest concerns)

And just last week at the briefing session, Ettusais presented us with this!

I was already tempted to get it when I received their newsletter! And I was so happy that the 2 new eye zone products were included in the goodie bag!!! Wahahaha…

Now, here’s a little information about DARK EYE CIRCLES~

There are 2 types of dark rings – Brown and Blue.

Brown circles are caused by excessive melanin production, aging and hereditary reasons.

While blue circles are usually the results of lack of sleep and poor blood circulation.

To combat blue dark circles, simply sleep and rest your eyes and promote blood circulation by massaging.

As for brown dark circles, it’s a little trickier. Since it’s due to aging and hereditary reasons, you can only lighten it and use sunscreen to prevent further darkening.

Now I do understand why my dark circles never seem to go away…
“Hereditary + Lack of sleep”

Anyway, i’ve been trying the 2 new eye products from Ettusais for the past week.

1. Eye Zone Massaging Essence

As its name suggests, you have have to message this essence on your eye area. And through massaging, it helps to promote blood circulation and reduces the puffiness around your eyes! Remember to apply and massage around your entire eye area, top and bottom!

Ettusais came up with a set of massaging moves:

On the 1st try, I had some difficulties following through the massaging moves but after a while, you will get the hang of it. Upon completion, my eyes felt so fresh and relaxed, probably because massaging helps to promote circulation and reduce water retention. And I’m loving the feeling! =)

I find that one pump of eye gel is too much for my eyes (had to massage longer to allow the gel to be fully absorbed), I would suggest half-a-pump. You could use it after ettusais skin version up to further enhance absorption!

Eye-care productions are usually in the form of cream, which may be too rich for some of us and it causes little bumps around the under-eye area. What’s good about the eye zone essence is – its gel form!

As you can see, it has a pretty lightweight gel-like texture which makes it easy to massage and enhance the effect of the essence.

2. Eye Zone Tinted Color Essence

I got a little excited about this product when I was being introduced to it.

Eye essence + concealer in one~ How cool is that!

The texture is similar to liquid foundation/concealer but in a lighter formula. The tip is unlike any other products in the market now; it comes in a soft and gentle brush applicator which makes application easier!

Simply smear the essence onto your eye area and dab it on instead of blending for better coverage!

Although it comes in only one tone, but don’t fret! The tinted color pigments actually neutralize the different dark circles, meaning the coverage is very natural~

I personally like this as it help to lighten my stubborn dark brown circles and it’s moisturizing! You know how creamy concealers are; and often it makes your under-eye area look cakey and creates fine lines. Whereas for this tinted essence doesn’t give me that sort of issues.

If you are using compact foundation, best to use this first. And if you are using liquid foundation, you use the tinted essence after. Great for touch-ups too! The coverage is medium which is great for everyday use.

Both the Ettusais Eye Zone products are already in stores. Do hop down to any of the Ettusais counter and try it out! ;)

May we be free from dark circles!!! =D
